3. Function check

How to measure

- according to the operation method of the manual

- Test method requested by the guest

4. Power consumption check

Under the rated voltage and normal temperature of the appliance, the deviation between the input power and the rated input power should not be greater than that shown in the table below

5. Rubbing test for rating label

EN:

- Gasoline (aliphatic solvent hexane, n-hexane), water, cotton cloth, 1000g weight

- Water, 15 times; alcohol, 15 times. Frequency, 1 time per second

- After the above tests, the nameplate logo should still be clear and easy to read (whether the printing has fallen off, and there should be no peeling pigment on the cotton cloth), the nameplate should not be easily removed and there should be no curling.

UL:

-finger

-4lbs (18N, 1.81kg) 10 reps. Frequency, 1 time per second

- After the above tests, the nameplate logo should still be clear and easy to read (whether the printing has fallen off, and there should be no peeling pigment on the cotton cloth), the nameplate should not be easily removed and there should be no curling.

6. Adhesive Test for printing

Common Criteria

Use 3M 600 (or same performance tape) tape for an adhesion test on all painting, foil stamping, UV coating, printing. no more than 10% area peel off required

7. Power cord strain relief

Testing method

- Make a mark where the wire meets the product housing (on the power cord)

-Tie a knot 20cm away from the outlet of the power cord (1 inch for UL) (for hanging weights or dynamometers)

-IEC: Hang the tension gauge on the knot of the power cord, and stretch the power cord 25 times with the specified force, the frequency is about 1 time per second

UL: A weight of the specified weight is hung on the knot of the power cord for 1 minute.

determination

-IEC: Power cord displacement does not exceed 2mm

-UL: Luminaires (UL1598, UL153): The displacement of the power cord does not exceed 1.6mm

Products that have applied for UL60065, UL60950: the displacement of the power cord does not exceed 2mm

Household appliances: should not have any displacement (UL982, UL1082, UL1026, UL1083, UL1278, UL484, UL859, UL1005)

8. Stability Test

IEC:

Lamps: 6°

Household appliances: 10° (including an electric iron with its own support floor)

Heating appliance: 15° (if poured, do temperature rise test)

UL:

Lamps: 8°

Lamps with a toy shape: 15°

Electric heating appliance: 15°

Electric fan, heater, motor food processor: 10°

Precautions:

The power cord plug of the product was not connected to the power supply during the test.

For products with doors, test the opening and closing of the door.

Products with liquid containers are tested for full and empty containers.

For products with pulleys, lock the pulleys during testing.

9. Power on check

9.1 Full load

9.2 Time 2~4 hours (or equivalent 2~4 hour cycle)

9.3 Some products are opened for a certain period of time and then stopped for a period of time

10. Critical Component Verification Check

- Internal structure inspection

- Internal wiring, screws, welding, assembly of components, etc.

Traces should be smooth without sharp edges and corners

The wiring is protected, and no contact burrs, heat sinks, etc. are allowed to avoid damage to the insulation.

The small hole of the metal part through which the wiring is passed shall have a smooth, flat surface or a sleeve.

The upper thread effectively prevents the wiring from contacting the moving parts.

- Confirmation of key components (check parts list)
