Product Sampling Inspection

What is Product Sampling (SPS)?

Product sampling (Sample Picking Service) means that inspectors randomly select samples from bulk goods to reflect the actual product quality through inspection report results.

Product box sampling method for inspectors

  • By observing and understanding the bulk cargo, the inspector randomly selects samples from the bulk cargo;
  • Cover sampling of all styles, colors, and sizes;
  • Both packaged and unpackaged but finished products are sampled;
  • All product lines are sampled;
  • The bulk goods include all production stages: serial numbers, time codes, etc. for sampling;
  • Sampling according to proportion;
  • The boxes piled up in every corner must be drawn;
  • The box numbers of the boxes drawn should not be too close;
  • Sampling covering all destinations and ports;
  • Covering all different types of box sampling

Specific sealing process for pre-shipment inspection

1. For the final inspection of each order, the inspector needs to draw enough boxes according to the number of boxes shipped, the packaging ratio, and the defined box drawing method.

2. If there is no special sealing requirement, the boxes that are not opened during inspection will not be sealed with the warehouse sealing tape. The inspectors will seal the opened boxes before leaving the factory.

3. The inspector will conduct sampling inspection one by one. All inspected and good products will be placed on the top layer of the box or directly returned to the factory to speed up the repackaging process.

4. After the inspection, if the product quality meets the customer's requirements, the inspector needs to closely supervise the factory workers to repack the products to ensure that they meet the customer's packaging requirements and sealing rate.
